Tong Sui let out a sound and quickly shifted his focus back to the game. The feeling of playing independently was different from being led by someone; it was more intense and, of course, more rewarding, allowing him to concentrate even more.
When Chi Xingyu finished the day’s exercises, Tong Sui still felt somewhat unfulfilled. However, considering it was getting late, he ended the livestream, bid farewell to his audience, and prepared for bed.
After completing his evening routine, Tong Sui lay down on the bed, leaving space for the other half. Chi Xingyu feigned calmness as he lay down beside him. As he settled in, the mattress noticeably sank slightly, like an announcement that someone had intruded into his personal space.
“I’m turning off the lights,” Chi Xingyu said, reaching out to turn off the lamp. Once the room fell into darkness, everything around felt even more vividly perceivable.
Despite it being a double bed, accommodating two boys left little space, especially since Chi Xingyu was very tall, almost 1.9 meters. The distance between them was only half a person, covered by the same blanket, with Chi Xingyu’s body heat already slightly higher than Tong Sui’s, acting like a free hot water bottle.
Since it wasn’t their first time sharing a bed, neither felt particularly reserved. Tong Sui unconsciously shifted a little towards him, leaning against his shoulder and feeling the other’s warmth through the fabric. Indeed, it felt warmer.
After lying down, Chi Xingyu dared not move, but when Tong Sui edged closer, resting his shoulder against him, his heart raced in response. No need for more actions; merely this small, almost non-intimate gesture was enough to gradually drown Chi Xingyu’s rationality in desire.
He moved his tensed fingers that were stiff from nerves, and in the unseen corner, he playfully curled his fingers and tentatively took Tong Sui’s hand. Unlike the stiff hands of other boys, Tong Sui’s hand was soft and tender, like it had no bones.
“Are your hands tired? Do you want me to massage them?” Chi Xingyu asked.
Before Tong Sui could formulate a reply, Chi Xingyu took the liberty of holding his hand and began to knead it, his rough fingertips rubbing against his delicate skin. Chi Xingyu rarely made such conciliatory gestures, and his clumsy approach was marked by unusual care and tenderness.
Surprisingly, it felt rather nice. Tong Sui decided to simply close his eyes and let him have his way. Bathed in the moonlight filtering through the window, it fell affectionately on Tong Sui’s face.
His eyelashes were long, and when closed, he looked particularly tame, with his small, plump lips slightly curled, giving an impression of inviting a kiss. Chi Xingyu found himself lost in the moment, his throat constricting as he leaned closer, his warm breath cascading over that small, fair face.
“Can I kiss you?” he asked in a hushed voice.
Tong Sui blinked in shock, his eyelashes fluttering like trembling butterflies. He thought he must have misheard, and dazedly responded with an “ah.” His eyes were naturally round, resembling those of a kitten, and just by looking at him, Chi Xingyu’s heart raced, and a bead of nervous sweat formed in his palm.
Fear of rejection battled with an uncontrollable desire to draw nearer, tormenting him with conflicting emotions. Before meeting Tong Sui, he had never felt this way; he once thought that romance was just a bothersome and tiresome task.
As an arrogant straight male esports player, he couldn’t grasp these feelings. Yet ever since he encountered Tong Sui, he had completely fallen. Just by looking, his heartbeat quickened, and every second apart felt unbearably torturous, while being close only fueled his yearning.
He wanted to take another step closer, to be left with just the two of them. Driven by this intense desire, Chi Xingyu softly promised, “I swear it will just be a kiss, nothing else, okay?”
Tong Sui’s long eyelashes trembled, and a slight mist appeared in his eyes as he quietly said, “Then be gentle…”
Not as before, where kisses left his lips sore.
Chi Xingyu’s breathing deepened, and with a muffled “mm,” he eagerly leaned in, first brushing his lips against Tong Sui’s like a puppy begging for affection.
Slightly moist, it held a hint of eagerness. Perhaps Chi Xingyu had absorbed Tong Sui’s previous request; though he yearned to deepen the kiss, he remained patient, savoring the connection.
Tong Sui, however, was already somewhat used to the breathless kisses of the past. This gentleness felt like a dull knife cutting flesh, stirring something strange within him, making it hard to breathe, slowly melting into the delicate kiss.
Chi Xingyu likewise found himself in discomfort. It was like being presented with a whole barrel of fragrant nectar, yet only able to take small sips. His palms were already damp with sweat, clinging to Tong Sui’s hand, afraid of overstepping boundaries and being stopped.
He meticulously traced the soft and plump lips, kissing them until they were heated, gently nipping at the slightly prominent lip beads like seeking to draw out their essence. Tong Sui didn’t open his mouth, clenching his teeth tightly, but Chi Xingyu was not detered, rubbing closely until the edges of his lips turned a faint red from friction.
The subtle pain made Tong Sui’s nose feel achy, causing him to tremble and reluctantly part his lips, allowing Chi Xingyu to deepen the kiss. The coldness that didn’t belong to him swept through every corner of his mouth, as if it sought to plant a flag, claiming this moment as its own.
Tong Sui felt as if he merely received a kiss, yet inside and out, he was engulfed by Chi Xingyu’s affection, like a net tightening around him.
Chi Xingyu eventually released him.
Tong Sui’s nose glistened with a light sheen of sweat, slightly flushed, and his lips, kissed and swollen, parted gently, releasing warm breaths into the cool night.
The night grew less tranquil, as the wind whistled through the small gap left by the unlatched window.
Chi Xingyu felt that his current state was quite dismal; he couldn’t sleep peacefully at all, instead feeling more alert than ever.
